In June 24, 1976, Andre "Dadou" Pasquet decided to found his own band after an awful experience with Tabou Combo in which he played for four (4) years. Since then, the band never ceased to contribute to the expansion of the Haitian culture in the motherland and overseas. As a matter of fact, Magnum was the unique Haitian group to perform in Atlanta in 1996 during the Olympics Games "even though until neither the officials from the government or the Haitian Music Industry never Officially showed appreciation and expressed some kind of gratitude to Magnum's musicians for what they did in Atlanta", as Robby-G often says on Radio Soleil. Additionally, Magnum has already released more than 30 albums. Led by one of the greatest Haitian guitar player since its foundation, Andre "Dadou" Pasquet, the band recently released a new album entitled "Ou lala" with nine (9) superb songs including an instrumental interpretation of  Percy Sledge's "When a man loves a woman".
